My little ham!

Here's a short little video of Harper right after she woke up the other morning. She's so happy in the morning, I just love sneaking in on her and catching her laughing at the curtains or the light, waiting for mommy to come get her! I'll take a video of that soon, but this one's pretty cute, too!

Designer...extraordinaire?

Hi everyone!!

So to update you all, I wanted to talk about my business plans. Obviously I want to do my interior design, but if you know me, you know that I always have my hands in a million different things! I've done a little paint color consulting, but I just finished building my first website from scratch for a client! She happens to be my old interior design instructor from Chico, so the website is for her business: Tami Faulkner Design. It's pretty simple, but that's how she wanted it - and I learned a lot and she's really happy with how it turned out so that helps my confidence!

My other venture is as a blogger. I love to write on here, and I read a ton of blogs almost daily, so I thought - hey! I can do that, too! So here it is: http://likelydesign.wordpress.com. I'm working on prettying up the layout, but I am having a blast posting my design finds and inspiration online. Let me know what you think - and don't forget to leave me some comments!!!



Lastly, I hope to open my own shop at etsy.com. Most of you know how much I love that website, and I'm dying to work on some handmade crafts that I can start selling! I have a million ideas, all of which I have been journaling the heck out of, so it should be fun!! Wish me luck!!

This one was the first shot I took...you can see some teeth but I didn't realize she was so boogery and covered in spit up! But she's still a cutie!

Harper is getting another tooth and she's definitely letting us know!! I know this picture is a little blurry, but it's the best I could do. :) The obvious one on the right is the first one that came in, and the second one is right next to it on the left. Cute, right?? :)

OMG...5 months old today!!

Our baby is getting so big, I can't even keep up! I can't believe that she is already 5 months old, and on Sunday we discovered that Harper is getting her FIRST TOOTH!!! I can't believe it, it makes me want to cry! I would have posted earlier, but I have been trying to get a picture of the little bugger, but it's hard to get a 5 month old to cooperate with a picture like that. :) So here's a couple cute pictures of a "buck-tooth" pacifier and how she fell asleep sitting up on the couch. So sweet. She's actually still asleep right now and it's after 9 AM...she's gotten her dad's sleeping habits, I think, and can sleep in late! It's helped me keep my New Year's resolution of working out, though. :)

Here's a short video I shot this afternoon of Harper in her Jenny Jump Up! :) I shot it with my new camera and it doesn't work with memory cards so I can only shoot 30 seconds for now...but we got an actual video camera as a gift and it should be to us soon so watch out for more videos! :)
