Some updated house pics!

Hi again!

We've been working really hard on the house to get it ready for Christmas...here are some updated pictures!

These are the new curtains for our bedroom closet that Glenn's mom made.  I hemmed the bottom.  :)

Here is Harper's room - she has a new mosquito net over her bed and we finally hung her wallpaper letters!

And here are the new pictures of our kitchen!  Glenn and I (mostly Glenn) painted the cabinets and painted the walls, and we ordered new hinges and hardware!  What a difference!

Happy Holidays!

Santa Claus pulled through this year and bought me an awesome new digital camera...too bad it doesn't work like it's supposed to!  It won't read memory cards so we have to send it to Kodak to get it fixed but no biggie...should be back soon!  I can take pictures, but can only save them to internal memory so I can only save a few at a time!  Here's some fun ones of our Christmas and Harper playing with her new toys!

Apologies! :)

I've been a little behind on the blogging lately...I left my camera in Ontario and supposedly it's being mailed back to me but I haven't gotten it back yet!  Hopefully Santa will bring me a new one, though...hint, hint!

I just thought I'd post a little update on Harper - she got her 4 month shots yesterday and took it like a big girl!  The 1st shot woke her up a little and she didn't cry, but the 2nd and 3rd ones made her start wailing!  But she stopped right away, it was actually pretty cute.  I hope she's feeling alright as I got a flu shot at the same time and my shoulder is killing me today!!

Anyway, she also had a check-up with the doctor last week and weighed in at 15 lbs., 2 oz. and was 25 1/2 inches tall!  Both in the 90th percentile for her BIRTH-DAY!  She's pretty much off the charts for her due date.

Here's some cute pictures I took with my web cam - she's getting so big!  She's starting to play with her toys that hang from her play gym, she grabs and kicks and "talks" to us.  So cute!!  She's also really holding her head up well, can do a little "push-up" and she can stand if we hold her hands or hips.  We also gave her her first small bowl of rice cereal and she ate it right down!  The doctor said we could start giving her some so we thought we'd see if she liked it and I think she did!  We took some cute pictures on Glenn's film camera, so when we get that developed we'll get a disk and I'll post the pictures.

Love you all and Happy Holidays!!

A day I'll never forget.

Harper is 4 months old now!  We can't believe it!  Such a big girl - we are loving it!  So smiley and laughing...it just melts our hearts!

As most of you know, we are in the process of painting our kitchen (and working on the entire house!), and we were working on the kitchen today.  We thought it would be cute to paint her foot and put a print on the wall since today is her 4 month birthday.  We did it, cleaned her foot off, and decided to write the date on there so we'd never forget what day we put her footprint on the wall.  Later I got the call from my dad that my Grandma Marcia (his mom) had passed away earlier in the day.  I couldn't help but think that it was weird that we decided to immortalize that day on our living room wall.

We'll miss you so much, Grandma.  You are such a sweet and generous person, and I'm happy to know that you're back with Grandpa Max now.  We all miss him, too.  I wish Harper could have met you both.  xoxoxo
